1st. Task: The life cycle of the silk worm:

  2. DRAW A MAP WITH THE AREAS OF THE MOST IMPORTANT RELIGIONS AROUND THE SILK ROUTE.
  3. HOW MANY KILOMETRES DID IT TAKE?
  4. HOW LONG DID THEY TAKE TO DO THE ROUTE?

PROJECT: THE SILK

Project: The SILK. Tasks and investigation.


TAREAS Y ACTIVIDADES.  TRABAJO EN GRUPOS DE 4. PRESENTACIONES DIGITALES. EXPOSICIONES ORALES. TEMPORALIZACIÓN: MES DE JUNIO. 
  • Los trabajos deberán estar acabados antes del 10 de JUNIO.
  • Se presentarán en formato digital, pendrive, el lunes 10 DE JUNIO en la clase de inglés.
  • Las exposiciones se realizarán del 11 al 16 de JUNIO.
  • Las tareas las irá poniendo el profesor para ser investigada en casa o en clase, pero se realizarán siempre en clase.
  • En la realización de las tareas que se hará en grupos de 4 alumnos o alumnas, habrá que utilizar el CLASSROOM LANGUAGE. 
EVALUACIÓN:
  • Trabajo y participación en grupo. Autoevaluación de los miembros del grupo.
  • Trabajo digital con un writing  adecuado al nivel (no diccionarios ni traductores, ni profesores/as particulares) y un buen uso de imágenes relacionadas.
  • Entre 10 y 20 diapositivas. (comprensension skills).
  • Uso del inglés del nivel (5º o 6ª) en la exposición oral a la clase. En las tareas se os indicará cuáles serán las grammar rules y el vocabulary  a emplear.
  • Interacción: Preguntas y respuestas en clase. 
  • Apoyo con material alternativo al digital ( no obligatorio). 
  • El trabajo que no se entregue en la fecha propuesta tendrá un 40% menos de nota final.

  2. What kind of clothes do they make?
  3. How much do they cost? (prices per kilogram; prices of different clothes: dress, shirts, kimono, sheet, etc)
  4. Where do they make the silk (countries)?
  5. How  did  the traditional silk farms make the silk? How long did they take?
  6. Make a fashion desgin based in silk:
  •  Draw a model.
  • Calculate  the price of production and the price of selling. 
  • Invent your logo for the mark.
  • Invent a slogan
